Everyone is capable of some form of physical activity. Fitness Manager Jim and his training team enjoy helping members achieve their fitness goals, whatever they may be. Jim earned Master of Science and Bachelor of Science degrees in exercise science, with a concentration in cardiac rehabilitation and adult fitness, from East Stroudsburg University. In addition to his fitness and health education, he is also a certified cycling instructor through Mad Dogg Athletics.

Jim extensive experience includes working with clients of all skill levels and backgrounds. He specializes in helping those with medical conditions, including cardiac patients, diabetics, bariatric patients, and cancer survivors. He is skilled at advancing clients to the next level through fitness programs or sport specific training. For those new to exercise, Jim assures a conservative approach to help avoid injury and increase motivation.

He enjoys sports. He is a community softball and basketball coach. Jim is a tropical-fish enthusiast who maintains fresh and saltwater aquariums. He admits a taste preference for some unhealthy food choices, but only indulges on occasion. His favorite meal is eggplant parmesan.

Jim cautions members not to be hard on themselves when they miss a day at the Center. Rather, he encourages celebration on the days you accomplish your workouts. He and his team are ready to share all aspects of your fitness journey.
