Education & Certifications:
Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and currently pursuing a Master’s degree in education: English Language Learning and Teaching at Capella University. Certified in N.P.T.I. – C.P.T., English as a Second Language, TRX, S.C.W. Group Exercise, Foam Rolling, Les Mills BodyPump and BodyCombat and CPR/First Aid/AED certified.
I am bilingual, fluent in English and Spanish. Besides teaching high school and adults students, I teach group fitness classes, which include cycling, HIIT, Tabata, and strength training.
If you do not see me at the gym, you are likely to find me riding my bike to Piermont, NY or at the beach. I love running and did the Nike Women’s Half Marathon and Nike+ Human Race: The World’s Largest One Day Racing Event. I also love donuts and making sure my hair smells great!
Why did you go into Personal Training?
I am a teacher by trade and heart! After a few years of being a group fitness instructor, I wanted to take a more personal approach. My goal is to help others see their true potential in health, wellness and happiness. I enjoy being able to motivate my clients to find the best versions of themselves.
