Group Fitness Instructor
Jen earned her Bachelor of Science degree in exercise science, with a Minor in coaching, from the University of Scranton. She is a certified personal trainer, youth exercise specialist, and women’s fitness specialist through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Aside from her educational background, Jen trained as an athlete for most of her life. Currently, she is an assistant varsity coach for track and field at the high school level.
She specializes in women’s health, with certifications in pre- and post-natal fitness. Jen welcomes women of all ages to the Exercise Floor. Her specialties also include TRX suspension training, core training, and functional training. She is skilled at creating customized corrective exercises to assist members. Jen’s success includes helping her clients achieve healthy weight management. She enjoys working with all ages, including youth.
When not at the Center, Jen’s summer is spent beach lifeguarding in Long Branch, New Jersey. She enjoys coaching track, playing rugby and soccer, surfing, rowing, and spending time with her family. She prefers warm-weather months.
Fun fact: For three years, Jen competed at the US National Lifeguard championships. She won a national title in 2013 in Manhattan Beach, California, in the Rescue Race. She won a silver medal in the Surfboat in 2012 and 2013.
Jen recognizes fitness and wellness as a lifelong pursuit. Through exciting exercise programs, she safely and efficiently helps members excel.
