Social Media Coordinator
Fitness & Wellness is looking for a full-time Social Media Coordinator to maintain the digital voice and personality of all Fitness & Wellness Centers. In this role, the incumbent will utilize social channels to provide news and conversations as well as engage the community. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Social Media Coordinator will also drive online traffic to digital assets, raise awareness of center events and marketing initiatives, while integrating partner messages in a way that maximizes exposure. This position will play a critical role in ensuring that social media communications driven from every department within the organization maintain a consistent tone and quality.
Group Fitness Instructors
Group Fitness instructors share their skills and enthusiasm in a supportive, welcoming class environment. We offer a variety of class types, including Cycle, Freestyle, Yoga, Les Mills™ programs, Dance, T’ai Chi, Pilates (mat and reformer), Aquatics and much more. We are open to introducing new classes to grow our Group Fitness program to meet the needs of our diverse membership. Certification required. CPR training provided.
Group Fitness Director
Seeking full time experienced director to promote & develop the group fitness program, schedule classes, hire and train instructors, administrative duties including payroll and statistical reporting. Great organizational, communication and motivational skills required.
Organizes and leads the activities of young children in the Fitness and Wellness child care center by performing the duties assigned by the childcare manager.
Supervise a state-of-the-art three-pool aquatic center with a lap pool, therapy pool, and spa pool. Hires and supervises aquatic staff including lifeguards and instructors. Teach swim lessons (all levels), Lifeguard course, Water Safety Instructor Course, CPR/AED classes for the employees and the public. Promotes interest and provides information regarding aquatic program to school officials, community service groups, other departments and the general public. Schedules aquatic competitions throughout the year. Responsible for troubleshooting mechanical and chemical systems and scheduling maintenance and repairs of the system. Perform daily, weekly, monthly and yearly maintenance for multiple pools.
Monitor the activities in the swimming areas to prevent accidents and provide assistance to swimmers. Duties include but are not limited to informing swimmers of unsafe areas, maintaining order in swimming areas, inspecting facilities for cleanliness, testing chemical levels and temperature.
WSI Swim Instructors
Responsible for teaching individual and group swim lessons. Must hold a Water Safety Instructor certification.
Our nurses perform a host of assessments and nutritional support to our member base which is comprised of a variety of age groups.
Computer skills and patience are a MUST to handle the billing cycle and any customer service issues that arise.
Responsible for operating PBX or multi-line telephone system to answer incoming calls and directs callers to appropriate personnel, greeting all patrons as they enter and exit the facility, and accepting payments and account updates by performing various duties. Multitasking, strong computer skills and pleasant disposition are a must.
Manager overseas child care attendants and directs activities of the fitness center’s child care facility to provide instruction and care for children by performing various duties such as: maintain discipline; prepare and submit facility budget to general manager; confer with parents regarding facility activities, policies, and enrollment procedures; train staff regarding how to handle misbehaving children.
Exercise Physiologists/ Fitness Professionals
Responsible for development and supervision of exercise programs, including scheduling regular reviews to monitor progress, demonstrating compliance and helping members of all ages and abilities achieve optimal results. Degree and/or Certification Required.
Sales Counselors/ Management Trainees
Our sales team spends the majority of their day networking and promoting the Center throughout the community to bring new members in the door. The team is comprised of ambitious, career oriented individuals with strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
